Michelle Smith CHt, CBE, CCA |
Rev.
Michelle A. Smith is clinical hypnotist with a
specialization in childbirth hypnosis, holding
certifications in both the HypnoBirthing and Hypnobabies
methods of childbirth hypnosis -- the only one to do so in
the Southeastern United States. She is also a childbirth
educator, doula/labor companion, midwifery/birth
assistant, and lactation educator, as well as an Usui &
Karuna Reiki master/teacher and certified aromatherapist.
This unique knowledge base and clinical experience provide
Michelle with a unique understanding and well-rounded
perspective in both birth and hypnosis, which she passes
on to her clients. They carry with them into their birth
experiences a relaxation, focus and control not typically
realized by the average birthing woman. Most clients give
birth without the need for pain medication and many are
even pain free. Michelle's experience enhances her
clinical hypnosis work. As a practicing staff member of
the Hypnotic Research Society, she helps both men and
women in such areas as stress reduction, relaxation, pain
management, ego enhancement, fear release, self-hypnosis
techniques, weight management, and smoking cessation. |
